Rabbiter’s Hut is located 16 kilometers East of Mount Torrens and 10 kilometers south of Tungkillo on the Pebbly Range Road.
Access can be made by car. An hour and a quarter drive from central Adelaide. An hour and 20 minutes from Adelaide airport.
The Rabbiter’s Hut is an exclusively restored rural cottage allowing guests to relax and experience country life . To unwind on the verandah or by the fire, taste local produce from the paddock to the plate and to explore the surrounds, bush walking, horse riding, bird watching and more is an unique way to spend a few days.
Located on the picturesque property of Tinline Park, that boast the most amazing vistas of the Murray Plains. Situated in the Eastern Ranges of the Adelaide Hills an hour from Adelaide .
Your hosts Bill and Annette Cameron give great pleasure in sharing their lifestyle which is centred around what they call the “Tinline Triangle” Guests can visit three stunning regions of South Australia, the world renowned Barossa Valley, Murray River and the Adelaide Hills. All within 30 minutes from the property.

More by chance than intended guests find themselves staying at the Rabbiter's Hut longer than expected. To refer to this delightful accommodation as a “Hut” is a misnomer. It is well appointed , clean, cosy and comfortable with everything needed for a great stay. Located a sufficient distance from the main homestead it allows guest their own privacy.
Bill and Annette your hosts can provide you with the opportunity to enjoy their hospitality and many local attractions. You stay at the Rabbiter’s Hut in the manner that you choose. That may be relaxing and unwinding on the verandah overlooking the paddocks of Tinline Park. In the winter you may have that book that you just want to finish and what a perfect place to do it by the fire with a glass of local shiraz.
If adventure and exploring is more your style there is the Lavender Trail Walk or bring your horse and saddle up to ride the Kidman Horse Trail. If food is your pleasure what better way than to taste the local produce from the paddock to the plate. To experience the flavours of Tinline Park Angus Beef and lamb is a must. This can be organized with your host Annette.
The Rabbiter’s Hut offers guests true country life experience . Situated on the well renowned Adelaide Hills property Tinline Park guest will see first hand the running of Angus Beef cattle, prime lambs and the main focus being maintained on wool production. Their passion for landcare has been evident in the appearance of the property with improve vegetation over the years with the help of the community based Tungkillo Landcare Group.
The partnership between Bill and Annette is of the sole principle that they are only custodians of the land and it is imperative that they create footprints and opportunities to leave for the next generation for the better.
A deposit of 50% of total booking fee is required to confirm your booking. Cancellation Policy Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to the first date booked will be entitled to a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations notified 30 days or less will forfeit all monies paid unless we are able to re-book your entire stay to another group at full tariff. Other Policies Please ensure that you have travel insurance should there be a catastrophic fire day prior to your stay. We do not accept any liability. Protocol fire plan is in guest information booklet. Children and Families are welcome. Please inform us of children as we will accommodate their needs. Please be mindful that you are staying on a farm and that there are dams. It will be your responsibility to ensure your child’s safety. No Pets. There are plenty of animals for you to admire. The Rabbiter’s Hut is strictly a Smoke Free Zone inside and outside during the fire ban season. Damage - If damage to the property does occur whilst during your stay this will result in your credit card being charged to cover cost. Fire Protocol A fire plan will be in information folder and will be discussed with guest on arrival. Fire Alarms have been installed in premises. Tinline Park has a very strategic fire plan for the property and has it’s own fire fighting unit. Bill Cameron is also a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Rockliegh CFS.
